The short version: we collect an email address if you give us one, and a name and message if you write to us. We don’t use tracking cookies, we don’t run analytics or advertising, and we don’t sell or rent your information to anyone. Ever.
Who we are
MRH Productions presents Bluegrass First Class and a series of bluegrass and country concerts across North Carolina and Tennessee. This policy covers this website. It does not cover the ticketing companies or venues we link to — those are separate businesses with their own policies, described below.
What we collect
If you join the mailing list
Your email address, and which of our three lists you asked to hear about — Bluegrass First Class, the concert series, or general news. That’s all. We do not ask for your name, address or phone number to join the list.
If you use the contact form
Your name, email address, subject and message, so we can reply.
If you apply to volunteer or vend
Those applications are Google Forms. What they collect is shown on the form itself, and the responses go to Google, where we read them. Google’s privacy policy applies to that data in addition to ours.
What we do not collect
- No analytics. We do not track how you move around this site.
- No advertising or remarketing pixels of any kind.
- No purchase or payment information. We never see your card details — ticket purchases happen entirely on the ticketing company’s own site.
- No location data beyond what any web server necessarily receives.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies. There is no advertising cookie, no analytics cookie, and no third-party tracker. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
The site does use one piece of ordinary browser storage: when you answer or dismiss the short “have you been to First Class before” question, your browser remembers that for about 30 days so we don’t ask you again on every visit. It records only that you answered. It contains no personal information, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it.
How we use what we collect
- To tell you when tickets go on sale, and about shows and festival news.
- To answer your message if you write to us.
- To review volunteer and vendor applications.
We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not send email on behalf of anyone else.
Who else is involved
Running a website means using a few services. Each one only sees what it needs to:
- Netlify hosts this site and receives contact form submissions.
- Sender.net stores the mailing list and sends our emails.
- Google Forms handles volunteer and vendor applications.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here.
- tourcntrl and Etix sell tickets. When you click a ticket link you leave this site, and anything you enter there is governed by their policies, not ours.
- The Crowne Plaza Resort handles room reservations directly by telephone.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send. It works immediately, and we don’t make you explain.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to us. We will do it.
- Correct anything that’s wrong — just tell us.
Children
This site is intended for adults buying tickets. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
