Tickets will be available on October 15th at 10am. Tickets can be purchased using our secure online ticket portal.

Reserved seats for the event sell out very quickly. If you wish to be placed on a waiting list to receive a reserved seat, purchase a general admission 2 day ticket. In the “comments” section on the order page, you can ask to be placed in a reserved seat if one becomes available.

Currently there are still a few rooms left at the Crowne Plaza Resort. In order to book, you must call 828-285-2603 and ask for “in-house reservations”. Once you speak with in house reservations, you will be able to book your room for Bluegrass First Class. If you get transferred to the national reservations call center, they will indicate all rooms are sold out because all booking for Bluegrass First Class is done with the local in-house reservation staff.

When you arrive at the Crowne Plaza Resort, ask for directions to the Expo Center. Your tickets can be picked up at the resorts Expo Center as soon as Thursday Evening at 7pm. Tickets will be required for entrance into all of the shows (Main Stage & Showcase Stage). Please wear your tickets (name badges) at all times.

The Crowne Plaza Resort can check you in as early as 9:00 AM Friday, as room availability permits. You will be checked in as soon as your room is ready. While there is no guarantee for an early check in, there is a good possibility you can check in as early as you arrive.

Music will be played on the Main Stage and on the Showcase Stage. Performance schedules will be posted in the main lobby of the hotel and in the Expo Center. Except for the “Quiet Wing after 9pm",  jamming will be taking place all over the resort: in the halls, in the meeting rooms, in the lounge….everywhere (24-7).

The Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau will have a desk in the main lobby of the Crowne Plaza Resort and will provide you with information and directions to shopping which includes two large regional malls, the downtown area, and the marvelous Biltmore Village, located just outside the Biltmore Estate. In addition, there is the large River Ridge Outlet Mall, as well as many antique shops in the downtown area. Much more is available; just ask the front desk. The Crowne Plaza Resort also has 9-hole golf course and a putting green (weather permitting).

There will be pickin’ around the clock in the halls, rooms, lounge, main lobbies, and foyers. The entire hotel is reserved for bluegrass fans and performers – It’s all yours, so just have at it! There is one quiet wing in the hotel and in that area we respectfully request that there be no jammin’ after 9pm.

 You can make reservations for next year while you are at this year’s show. No payment is necessary this year to reserve your room for next year. We’ll be glad to hold it for you. Anyone who has a room at the Crowne Plaza Resort may have a room next year simply by notifying the Front Desk in the main lobby beginning Saturday afternoon. Payment arrangements for tickets and hotel rooms will remain the same. We look forward to giving you the same “First Class” services you receive at each year’s event.
