Helping bring free books to more Buncombe County kids birth to 5 years old through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

Dolly created the Imagination Library as a tribute to her father, who was very smart, but didn't know how to read very well and didn't go as far as he could have in life. Children love receiving a book in the mail every month with their name on it. Buncombe Partnership for Children sends more than 60,000 free books to over 5,400 children in our area. Many more children could be part of the program, but their families don't know about it yet. Your gift will help us reach these families and get their children enrolled. More books in a child's home and more time spent reading as a family gets them ready for success in school and life.
